Sunday December 21st, 2008I was able to pop this one out before work today. But since there's a fucking BLIZZARD up here from hell, I've got leave now to clean off my car and attempt to get onto the really shitty roads.
Then stand for ten hours just to do it all over again. Of course work wasn't called off; the office workers don't have to come in today. God forbid they have to brave this thing.
I CAN'T SEE OUT MY FUCKING WINDOW, I THINK THAT MAY MEAN THAT THE WEATHER IS SHITTY.
Today's page: Sucky background. It took my far too long to do this piece of crap.

No big pile-ups in VT that I know of yet. They haven't plowed this town at all and there was so much snow on my car, I had to stop and clean off my headlights because I couldn't SEE.
It's finally stopped (for a little while...) so I can play catch-up and "shovel time, yay snow!" tomorrow to ignore my mountain of dishes.

Panel 3 was the hardest to make and it was what was deterring me from continuing on many occasions. Why? I don't know. It sill looks awful.
But the next page is one I worked on very hard with pencil and ink and hopefully will be able to convey that with Illustrator. It's a scene I've been wanting to do for a very...very long time.
