Monday May 5th, 2008Holy SHIT was my weekend busy and lazy. The page was finished, my time, an hour and a half after midnight so technically it's late. Oh mah gaw.
And BECAUSE it was so busy...God you're going to hate me for this one, but I really didn't get a chance to look over the entries for the contest in full detail. I was too busy cutting triangle sandwiches and boiling water. Total mess. Anyway, I want the opportunity to really look at them. Technically I only got three "real" submissions, but I love them all and want to spend some time with them.
Tell you what, stay tuned to GF and the winner will have their very own banner across the top of the page when I know who it will be, kay? Does that work? It better, because that's what you're getting.
About today's page: Other than being late, I really like this page.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to enter.  I was busy feeding fangirls, being sick, uninspired, roleplaying...and all around lazy. I might enter to the next one.

I love DW in panel 2 and the imagery in panel 4--I can just imagine Nor run/falling to his side full of feminine worry and fear.

Not that we'd KNOW, Rae, considering she was in the comic for about two weeks before being brutally murdered. XD I'd say that she'd have to be a pretty strong little lady, though, to be Baxter's... girlfriend... wife... mate.... thing? I can't see him falling for someone who just swoons a lot.

Yea, you can't blame us for seeing her as a weepy, useless chick...that's all she's done! Short of taming Bax's wild side...but really now...we all know she's a wuss. XD

What's really sad is that I had to cut a page in this issue that kind of brought her spark into the light. Also, Baxter snickered.
The page was a loss. But it was a waste of time. I may update it to deviantART or in the forum eventually/someday/if anybody cares.

*joins with KitFang in the grabby* o.o Pleasekaythanks? I really want to see that. Both the 'sparky' Nor and the snickering Baxter. Goodness, he NEVER LAUGHS.
In retrospect, there's really not much in his life for him to laugh about. o.< It pretty much frickin SUCKS to be Baxter.
