Fake ID namesI've had at least for spambots sign up for this forum and had to delete them. This will probably continue into the future, but please make sure you post something if you are here, just so I know you are not a spambot, okay?

I've deleted yet another spambot. These are google generated ads. Please notify me if you see one and I don't. Good? Okay. Thanks.

I'm emotionally scarred from his spambot tactics.
In other news, you should probably lock this so its a you-only thread.

As I've discovered, a lot of these names are generated by Google and come through whether or not I require registration or not. I wanted to keep this forum open to all people because the old one bombed due to the fact people HAD to register.
So until then, I'll just watch and delete forums/names as I find them.

I was woderig if this would work (by the way my n key is broke i'm sick of usig Ctrl+V)
Haveig a scree with a floatig link in java/flash/somethig easish that you eed to click to eter It should deter some spammers. However i have o idea how to stop them from just goig directly to the lik. It'd have to be sort of authorizatio system based o cookies ad you just kept the cookie sayig you've clicked the lik ad you wot get that as your first page ad'll just be forwarded to the forum. The forum would forward you to the lik though if you didt have the cookie. Hmm...

Ow.
I'm not HTML-literate beyond a certain point. Until I start making money on GF or anything else in my life, please ignore ads, goodle bots and other spam-related things. I have to deal with the shame.
Try plucking your N key off your keyboard and giving it a good cleaning with some rubbing alcohol. If you've done that/it doesn't work, then I can't help you.
