Wow...I hardly know what to say except, go forth into this new venture with verve and swagger, my good woman!
I can't wait to see how this evolves!

I have to say, it's difficult.  That may be because I came home from work, loaded it and was forcing myself to try and get it done, which never makes for a very enjoyable experience.

I'm going to take my time with it.  It's a very different way of doing things.

Expect the next page this weekend or soon after.  I've got a lot of things to do around the house, including another emergency tank cleaning.

In other words, I'm going to be pecking at GF until I've got time to sit and finish it.

The whole process is interesting.  I'm essentially doing inking and coloring at the same time.  The brush settings are acting very strange so I'm having to use the pencil tool for most of the work.  I've also come to realize that my desk is EXTREMELY uncomfortable.  It's better than working on my laptop on my bed, I suppose.

Welp, that's all from me, peoples.  Stay tuned.

Yea, forcing yourself to work on something when you're tired from the day isn't usually condusive to arting.  But then again, there are times where if you don't force yourself to do something, you do nothing at all... (*cough* like me *cough*)

Take your time, experiment, and above all--have fun with it!

I wonder what you could do to the desk/chair arrangement to make it more comfortable?  Raise the seat?  Sit on a cushion?  Chop the legs on the desk to make it lower?  Set it on books to make it higher?  Maybe just raise the monitor?  Smack it around a bit?

I really want a comfy computer chair.  Not necessarily with wheels, but a cushion and arms would be nice.

Follow-up:  I've managed to figure out the brush settings so I'm back to my golden years, baby!

Actually, I started working on my 2008 GF Christmas card, hahaha.  I'm so unfocused.  If Illustrator doesn't eat my file as it has been want to do in the past it should be a nice card.

Oh right the page.

Oops.

EDIT: Y'know, I realize, now that I have Illustrator, what am I going to do at the laundromat?  Hmm...

Sketch out ideas for scenes or panel layouts?  Or maybe just doodle for giggles?
