No update today, guys, sorreh. I'm busy with a lot of stuff, mostly festive, and haven't been working on the next page. With any luck, I can peck at it throughout the week and get it up before Friday. I've got a big Christmas party on Saturday and things to do for that.
I can't make any promises other than I'm going to TRY and have it done!
Also, if you haven't read it, since I've obtained Illustrator and Dreamweaver, I have been eating a lot and doing nothing. I think I finally know why artist smoke/do drugs. I need my mouth to chew on something like cud and without gum or lollies, I'll eat until I'm sick. And sitting in front of my computer isn't the best weight loss method.
So I need incentive. If you'd like to sponsor my weight loss, with the promise of art or something, so that I don't have a heart attack/stroke and die and leave you without an ending, let me know and we can make arrangements. I have to buy a scale because I don't know how much I weight currently. However, I lost a lot of weight in 2007 thanks to work. Now I just need something to work out on the rest of my time. Any exercises you know? Especially for back fat?

For back fat? You need to work you external obliques (on each side from under the rib cage to the top of the hips), lats (that exercise where you bring the shoulder blades together with weights on the arm) and the lower back muscles with lots of intense twisting which can be done in a computer chair.
The things that work all of these muscles are basically stretching things but adding weights to it. I hope that helps. I personally prefer tai-chi which you can find on youtube, it's really good at training muscles. |

Thanks so much!
It's not as if I need an exercise to do in my chair, I'm not so fat that I can't STAND, hahaha, so I can do these any time. Woot.
I'd love to make my calves smaller too, but I don't know if they're fat. I think my legs are all muscles (other than my thighs). Either way, fat or muscle, I find it impossible to wear tall boots.
I'd like to add that I don't have much of a problem with my image. I'm rather proportionate for being so heavy and my doctor told me I was the healthiest people they knew. But fat is fat and the less there is of it, the less chance I have of having a stroke and diabetes.
I'll have to get me some weights! |

| technically a stroke has nothing to do with fat. A heart attack does, but a stroke is where a part of your brain suffocates. As long as your not ingesting blood thickeners or pure plaque you should be safe for now. |

| That's never a good sign, but at least you have a job. I can't find a job from 7pm to 3am which is about the only time shift I can work. |

It's really just the people that piss me off. My job isn't hard, I don't have to take it home with me and the benefits are fantastic. Also, money.
But the drunken, ill-spoken horde I have to tolerate is starting to get to me. They've taken the edge of my perspective and hopes. And as a grammar nazi, their language makes me want to claw my face off. |

| Are you allowed to listen to music while you work? That would be a great help to you then, but if you can't, I wish all the drunken people were arrested driving home and can't go into work for a few weeks. |

Most of my coworkers actually brag about being picked up by the cops and not having them detect the beer they JUST DRANK on their breath because they reek too strongly of coffee. It's like a "I showed them law folks, hyuk" badge or something...
Music, sure, on a stereo...that doesn't come in very well or get loud enough and if it does get loud enough, I'm asked to turn it down. Not everyone is horrible. I have one shining star at work who keeps me sane and I toddle after him like some kind of puppy. I've called him my prozac. He's between a stupid redneck and the guys I used to go to college with. Meaning he's fun and keeps my laughing but once in a while his communication and vernacular make my inner grammar Nazi shudder.
As for exercising, I tried doing some stretches yesterday at work that worked my problem area and people looked at me weird. Looks like that's an at-home thing, hahaha. |

Sorry again for the lack of update. I got a couple more panels done tonight, but something's been eating at me lately and giving me a void of patience. Patience that I need to complete the next page. Strange how the other pages came out so fast and smooth and this one is taking forever. You'll be disappointed. I may hold onto it until the page after it is done and give you a two-day update.
Anyway, yes. Reading too much about Metal Gear series and planning my holiday party. You'll have your GF and like it. |

| Have patience with your comic, as an author I completely understand, it's where you know what you have to do but it's like "do this, or watch hookers beat the crap out of each other on springer!" I have the problem all the time where it's finish this chapter but I have fifteen million other things to do, it's why I need my ADHD meds filled. |

Well I don't have television or, honestly, anything better to do with my time most of the year. But just today I have to go buy some tacks and a ton of food, order a party platter, clean my apartment, clean my closets (shudder) and decide whether or not to make a yule log. Also, I need to bake a fuckton of cookies.
This is all before 3:30 todays and it's 1 right now. |
